We identify and validate potential drug targets
We have sequenced every gene of the human genome in thousands of individuals, and measured hundreds of thousands of intermediate biomarkers, and can now identify and validate all potential drug targets for any disease for which we have phenotype information.
There are approximately 25,000 genes in the human genome, and approximately 20,000 different proteins in the human body. Accordingly, there are no more than 20,000 theoretical potential drug targets in the traditional sense. As we have sequenced all ~25,000 genes in thousands of individuals, we can connect the correct drug target with the correct disease state to cure diseases that cause individual suffering and significant societal burden.
Using our unique approach we have already identified multiple novel drug candidates, several of which are currently in in-vitro studies.
